COMPREHENSIVE CENTERS |

|
Comprehensive One-Stop Centers provide numerous resources for job seekers and employers
via co-located partner agency staff and/or auxiliary services. Individuals seeking
a new job or interested in advancing their career may access a wide array of information
on training programs, education and employment services. Employers may post job
openings, locate qualified job applicants and receive outplacement and recruitment
assistance. To enhance productivity throughout the employment process, the One-Stop
Centers are equipped with the latest technology from computers to Internet access
and video-conferencing. Services are federally funded through the Workforce Investment
Act of 1998 (WIA) and free of cost to the public. |

via electronic referral tools but there is no co-located staff within the One-Stop

WIA Staff on-site during all business hours. WIA Equipment: 13 PCs with monitors,
Computer Learning Works (CLW), Keytrain, CareerScope, SCOIS, Mavis Beacon Typing
Tutor, WinWay Resume software, copier, fax machine, Microsoft Office Suite, kiosk,
LaserJet printer, Internet access, job search information via the Alex system and
one-on-one assistance with resume tips from WIA staff. Additional services are also
provided at this location.

ONE-STOP EXTENSION CENTERS |
|
|
EXTENSION SITES
One-Stop Extension Sites are locations that offers access to the mandated programs
via kiosk stands and/or electronic referral tools but there is no co-located staff.
Additionally, extension sites are not centers and will differ from the comprehensive
and satellite locations as the site may be physically located within lobbies, common
areas, and other placements within an organization. Extension sites are intended
to provide general information only. Please visit a comprehensive or satellite center
in order to fully access the array of services offered by the One-Stop.

services such as food pantry, free medical clinic, services for the blind, child
health, Department of Social Services and Vocational Rehabilitation. |
